To use License Distribution Service to generate a new license for a software upgrade:

  1. Find the order that needs to be upgraded (e.g., search on 11 months + activation date).

  2. Clear the user's existing generated license.

  3. Update the associated expiration date for the license.

  4. Notify the user to reactivate their license.
