You may see the following error message when attempting to install License Statistics:

xflicstat -i c:\xflicstat\xflicstat.cfg
Installing service ... failed!
Error while installing service!

This problem may be caused by inadequate privileges, an existing installation of the software, or an incorrect installation, which you can troubleshoot as follows:

• Ensure you have administrator privileges on the machine on which you're installing the software.
  
  
• Check whether the service is already installed by reviewing the entries in the Services dialog (found under Administrative Tools in the Control Panel).
  
  
• Look in xflicstat.log logfile to see whether it indicates a problem with the installation.
