License Statistics version 4.0 includes a number of new features, enhancements and fixes. Most of these improvements were made in response to customer feedback. For more information about how we incorporate customer feedback into our development process, see our Knowledgebase article, "Customer-driven development."

Important: License Statistics v4.0 no longer supports SQLite databases, which also removes related command-line tools, including the database edit utility, xfeditdb, and the custom report utility, xfcustomreport. If needed, you must import any remaining data from SQLite into License Statistics using License Statistics v3.12 before installing License Statistics v4.0.

The enhancements and fixes made in this release are detailed below.

Enhancements

License Statistics v4.0 includes the following enhancements.

LICSTAT-2313	Updated embedded MySQL server to version 5.5.
LICSTAT-2395	Bundled 64-bit version of embedded MySQL server for larger setups.

Fixes

License Statistics v4.0 includes the following fixes.

LICSTAT-2439	Bug with importing FlexNet report log.
LICSTAT-2421	For FlexNet, a license with an expiration date of 9999-* should be treated as "permanent."
LICSTAT-2366	Crash when importing FlexNet report log under Linux.
LICSTAT-2410	License usage validation bug resulting in “Parsing was incomplete” error message.
LICSTAT-2400	Improved error messages in path validation.
LICSTAT-2386	Failed to import SPLM log.
LICSTAT-2382	Improve import of HASP log files.
LICSTAT-2335	Bug with display when editing license server information.
LICSTAT-2312	Problem saving email settings for first time usage.
LICSTAT-1561	Total number of licenses should be shown as unlimited for a feature with 2147483647 or greater licenses.
