LM-X License Manager version 4.2 includes many enhancements and fixes. The improvements made in this release, listed below, were made in response to customer feedback. Enhancements

LM-X v4.2 includes the following enhancements.

Issue #	Description
LMX-1230	Improve documentation on configuring and running the LM-X license server.
LMX-1226	Add Windows 64-bit compiler information to Getting Started with LM-X License Manager.
LMX-1223	Add documentation and a script for running a Mac OS X license server at system start-up.
LMX-1210	Create pages for license server administration and configuration in the web-based UI, including pages for License Management, High Availability Licensing, Pay Per Use, Logging, Configuration File and Miscellaneous settings.
LMX-1208	Show a loading indicator when data download is in progress.
LMX-1203 LMX-675	LMX_Heartbeat can now be used to check if HostIDs are valid.
LMX-1199	Remove localtime() that could cause thread safety issues on Linux.
LMX-1195	Enable license server to read licenses from DATAPATH_DEFAULT_PATH.
LMX-1186	In the web-based UI graphs, if no data exists for a particular feature, draw a line for 0 (zero) license usage in the graph.
LMX-1181	Improve checkout speed by using selective HostID checking.
LMX-1173	Add the ability to upload *.lic files to the license server in the web-based UI.
LMX-1167	Add automatic activation and refresh for LAC licenses.

Fixes

LM-X v4.2 includes the following fixes.

LMX-1242	Checkout is slow due to dongle query.
LMX-1228	Problem with line ending of license file.
LMX-1220	Getting Started With LM-X License Manager contains a reference to xmllicgengui, which no longer exists.
LMX-1202	Unexpected "end of file" exception occurs when uploading license files in the web-based UI.
LMX-1196	Problem with IP addresses.
LMX-1190	Problem with custom HostID callback in .net.
LMX-1182	AutomaticC2CDiscovery crashes occasionally on various platforms.
