LM-X License Manager version 4.1 includes many enhancements and fixes. The improvements made in this release, listed below, were made in response to customer feedback. For more information about how we incorporate customer feedback into our development process, see our Knowledgebase article, "Customer-driven development."

Enhancements

LM-X v4.1 includes the following enhancements.

Issue #	Description
LMX-1160	In previous versions of LM-X, there were libraries with a no_lcodedata suffix in the main directory of the LM-X distribution. The no_lcodedata part of the filename has been removed, and the libraries have been moved to the no_security_config subdirectory.
LMX-1146	Support for Linux on ARM.
LMX-1140	Refresh only the currently visible LM-X web GUI pages to improve performance.
LMX-1139	The first feature in the list should be selected by default in the LM-X web GUI Feature Usage graph.
LMX-1138	LM-X no longer supports libraries compiled with /D_SECURE_SCL=0 for Visual Studio 2008 and 2010.
LMX-1133	Add a Used Licenses column to the LM-X web GUI License Usage page.
LMX-1131	Add Usage Statistics and Network Statistics graphs to the LM-X web GUI Dashboard.
LMX-1128	Add the name of the user who started the license server to the LM-X web GUI Dashboard.
LMX-1126	Improve the line colors in the LM-X web GUI graphs.
LMX-1124	Add new columns for checkout time, license state, and borrow expiration to the LM-X web GUI's License Usage page User report in the LM-X web gui.
LMX-1123	List each feature in the LM-X web GUI's License Usage page User report on a separate line.
LMX-1122	Replace the User column in the LM-X web GUI's License Usage page with a Borrowed column.
LMX-1118	Add ability to save the HostID information on the HostIDs page to a text file.
LMX-1108	When opening the LM-X web GUI's Log File page, it should automatically go to the end of the log file.
LMX-1101	Create license server load statistics on the LM-X web GUI Dashboard.
LMX-1096	Improve extended logging.
LMX-1070	Fix backwards compatibility issue with old LMX_ServerFunction (calling the old LMX_server function with a newer license results in the message "WARNING: This is not supported anymore!").

Fixes

LM-X v4.1 includes the following fixes.

Issue #	Description
LMX-1163	HostIDs are not recognized correctly when a USB is connected to the computer (lmxendutil shows no value or the same value as hdd).
LMX-1159	Problem with heartbeats and share string.
LMX-1153	When harddisk or bios HostID cannot be obtained, LMX_HostidSimple(handle, LMX_HOSTID_HARDDISK, buf) returns an empty string.
LMX-1142	Change LM-X usage examples to use LMX_Putenv instead of _putenv.
LMX-1137	When a license is locked to a license server using a dongle, the license server fails after approximately 8 minutes.
LMX-1136	In the LM-X web GUI, when checking out a feature in a minor version lower than the served version, denials are not shown for the feature.
LMX-1135	Having multiple versions of a feature on the license server results in conflicting information in the log.
LMX-1130	The number of clients in the LM-X Web GUI seem to constantly grow.
LMX-1129	The license server crashes when refreshing data in the LM-X web GUI that is in a different state than the server.
LMX-1125	All LM-X web GUI "Denied" labels should be changed to "Denials."
LMX-1121	LM-X web GUI grids should preserve their state after refreshing.
LMX-1120	The license server version should be loaded dynamically on the Dashboard in the LM-X web GUI.
LMX-1117	License server crashes if the license path is invalid.
LMX-1116	The getMessage method of LmxException returns null (Java API).
LMX-1072	LM-X not working on Azure.
LMX-1064	Problem with ensuring fixed size for string in LMX_MAX_LONG_STRING_LENGTH function.
