License Statistics v3.5.3 includes the following enhancements and fixes. Most of these changes were made in response to customer feedback. For more information about how we incorporate customer feedback into our development process, see our Knowledgebase article, "Customer-driven development."

Enhancements

License Statistics v3.5.3 includes the following enhancements.

LICSTAT-834	License Statistics now runs on Opera browser.
LICSTAT-889	Do not show realtime utilization when the license server is down.
LICSTAT-913	Monthly graphs show much more information than previously, including minimum usage in addition to maximum usage, and hourly usage.
LICSTAT-999	Realtime Usage grid is now sortable by all columns.
LICSTAT-1015	Added "Include Downtime" checkbox to the History page. When this option is checked, utilization results are shown for the entire month, regardless whether License Statistics or the monitored license server was down. When this option is not checked, only the time that License Statistics and the monitored license server were up is included in the results.
LICSTAT-1027	MySQL database update error when upgrading database to version 3 is now included in log.
LICSTAT-1040	Accept all configuration entry files and log a warning if an entry is unused.
LICSTAT-1066	Added Usage per Feature Report to the Reports page that shows license usage information based on individual features.
LICSTAT-1086	The from and to hours below the utilization graph are no longer reset when changing date.
LICSTAT-1116	Improved documentation to clarify XML file update procedures for custom license servers.
LICSTAT-1136	Added Usage per User Report to the Reports page that shows license usage information based on individual users.

Fixes

License Statistics v3.5.3 includes the following fixes.

LICSTAT-893	A pound sign (#) Server or Feature name was converted to a number.
LICSTAT-937	The Licenses in Use legend for the Utilization graph on the History page did not show the correct number of licenses.
LICSTAT-992	Linear points in graphs (for example, only two data points over several days, resulting in a single line between the data points) can produce false results.
LICSTAT-996	When there is a gap in the data in feature history, the gap should be seen in the History graph.
LICSTAT-1005	Improve Utilization graph in History page. The graph sometimes had the last label on the x-axis missing and behaved incorrectly when selecting the same hour in the From and To columns.
LICSTAT-1022	Realtime Users page contains duplicate data.
LICSTAT-1032	IBM LUM denial log import resulted in wrong data.
LICSTAT-1037	Selecting a different server or feature from the drop-down list in the History page linked back to the Realtime Usage page.
LICSTAT-1060	If you hide a license server, the number of shown in the Most Utilized Features grid decreased instead of continuing to show the top 10 utilized features.
LICSTAT-1065	The Date column in the Dashboard was too narrow.
LICSTAT-1068	The Expire Date column in the Expiring Features grids was too narrow.
LICSTAT-1080	Data is sometimes out of bounds in Realtime Usage graph.
LICSTAT-1082	Allow word wrapping in grids.
LICSTAT-1083	Improve update script that fixes host duplication to remove IP address with empty string from the database and replace them with "unknown."
LICSTAT-1085	Remove new lines in CSV file for Current Users grid.
LICSTAT-1087	When editing Username from Administration page, using a single quote (') at the end of the username caused the page to crash.
LICSTAT-1088	Entering too long a Username from the Administration page causes a crash.
LICSTAT-1089	License Usage Above 24 Hours grid displays features from hidden license servers.
LICSTAT-1090	"All features are hidden" popup was not being displayed.
LICSTAT-1097	Fast CGI fails in some cases.
LICSTAT-1098	MySQL restore from V3.5.1 to 3.5.2 didn't work in some cases. It stopped running with SQL error 1235, "This version of MySQL doesn't yet support 'multiple triggers with the same action time and event for one table'."
LICSTAT-1100	Improve column widths for grids to improve appearance with line breaks.
LICSTAT-1105	Sqlite database importer incorrectly computed data for Used Seconds in DailyUserUsage table.
LICSTAT-1111	Number of borrowed licenses shown for servers that were down was incorrect. If server is down, number of borrowed licenses should be equal to zero.
LICSTAT-1112	Date formatting was inconsistent.
LICSTAT-1113	A memcache::flush() warning displayed in the web application.
LICSTAT-1121	FlexNet parser crashes when log files are corrupted.
LICSTAT-1122	Cleaned up graphic elements for calendar on Features page.
LICSTAT-1125	In limited cases, after updating the configuration file and restarting License Statistics, there was an error shutting down the HTTP server.
LICSTAT-1126	Maintenance expiration date is missing from log.
LICSTAT-1132	Features that expire on the current date were not listed in the Expiring Features grid.
LICSTAT-1138	License Statistics crashed when table Version was empty.
LICSTAT-1144	The Monthly Usage graph was out of range.
LICSTAT-1145	Feature History page refreshed unnecessarily.
