No, your existing license file can be reused with any major version (v3.x) Use the License Activation Tool to find your old license file and to activate the software. You can also download the license file from your account in the Support Portal.

Please note that you must install License Statistics on the same machine as the previous installation in order to get the license check passed. If you require testing prior to an upgrade, please conduct it on a separate machine. The software can run in a 30-day trial mode without the need for activating additional licenses.
