You can run License Statistics on either a Unix or Windows platform. The versions are essentially identical, with the following considerations:

  • The distribution files differ slightly and the procedure for starting and stopping the service is specific to your platform.
  • The Analyzer is a Windows-only tool and is not included in the Unix distribution. However, if you have the Unix version of License Statistics, you can get the Analyzer for Windows upon request at no additional cost.
