License Statistics version 3.5 is a major release that includes over 500 enhancements and fixes. Most of these new features and changes were made in response to customer feedback. For more information about how we incorporate customer feedback into our development process, see our Knowledgebase article, "Customer-driven development."

The following list summarizes the most notable changes in this release.

Enhancements

• MySQL database is now being used, which improves performance.
• New web interface.
• New dashboard with widgets: license server list, most utilized features, expiring features and idle user list.
• Authentication on web interface.
• Support for RLM license servers.
• Custom SQL reports.
• Improved support for IBM LUM servers.

• Removed support for XML files. MySQL has a superior interface for access.
• Database backup is now a much easier process.
• No more static HTML files due to new speed improvements of MySQL.
• Much smaller configuration file. Now many settings are done from the web interface instead.
