If you are using a VMware product and have problems using LM-X Automatic
Server Discovery, do the following:
1. Verify that automatic discovery works by disabling the VMnet (e.g., VMnet1, VMnet8)
adapters.
2. Re-enable the adapters and verify that the physical adapter is listed first in the machine's Connections list.
To check this in Windows 7, go to the Network Connections window, press the ALT key to show the menu
bar, and select Advanced Settings...
from the Advanced menu. The order of the Connections should look like the following:
