If you have a problem running License Statistics with lmutil v11.6, there may be an incompatibility between your FlexNet version and the lmutil version you are using. For example, when running lmdiag:
c:\licstat>lmutil.exe lmdiag -n -c @virtualcenter
lmutil - Copyright (c) 1989-2008 Acresso Software Inc. All Rights Reserved.
FlexNet diagnostics on Fri 12/26/2008 19:42
-----------------------------------------------------
License file: 27000@virtualcenter
-----------------------------------------------------
At this point in attempting to run lmdiag, lmutil stalls and uses 100% CPU, and never finishes.
This problem occurs because lmutil v11.6, used to query the FlexNet license server lmgrd, is not
compatible with FlexNet v10.8. (Other cross compatibility
problems between other lmutil versions may also exist, but are untested.)
To resolve this problem, run the version of lmutil that comes with the FlexNet version you're using.
