The highest license usage entry in xflicstat.log looks like the following:

Highest license usage of the day: 124 users

This log entry shows the greatest number of concurrent users who are using the applications being monitored. This count is used to ensure that you have sufficient licensing for the number of users you are monitoring. The count is determined as follows:

  1. Each individual user running a given application counts as one user.
  2. Any number of instances of a given application running on a single machine counts as one user.
  3. Instances of a given application running on multiple machines are counted for each machine.
  4. All user counts are added together, which gives you the highest current count.
